Novak Djokovic began playing tennis at a young age and showed immense talent and determination from early on. He turned professional in 2003 and quickly rose through the ranks of men's tennis. He has achieved remarkable success throughout his career, particularly in the 2010s.

As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, Djokovic has won a total of 20 Grand Slam singles titles, which ties him with Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal for the most Grand Slam titles won by a male player. Djokovic has won each of the Grand Slam tournaments multiple times, including the Australian Open (9 titles), French Open (2 titles), Wimbledon (6 titles), and the US Open (3 titles).

Djokovic is known for his exceptional athleticism, defensive skills, and mental toughness on the tennis court. He possesses a powerful and versatile playing style, excelling in both offensive and defensive aspects of the game. Djokovic is also recognized for his incredible stamina and ability to come back from seemingly impossible situations.

In addition to his Grand Slam success, Djokovic has held the world No. 1 ranking in men's singles tennis for a significant amount of time.

He has won numerous other titles, including ATP Tour Masters 1000 events and the ATP Finals.

Off the court, Djokovic is known for his philanthropy and active involvement in various charitable causes. He established the Novak Djokovic Foundation, which aims to improve early childhood education and support vulnerable children in Serbia and other countries.

The past three years have seen Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer both lead the all-time standings, and Novak Djokovic draw level for the first time following his three victories in 2021.

Nadal is the current leader with 22 Grand Slam titles, one ahead of Djokovic, and two clear of Federer, who is now retired.

GRAND SLAM RACE: WHAT CHANGED IN 2022 AND WHAT'S NEXT IN 2023 BETWEEN RAFAEL NADAL AND NOVAK DJOKOVIC?

Rafael Nadal took the lead in the all-time Grand Slam standings in 2022 but will Novak Djokovic hit back in 2023? And will Carlos Alcaraz win more majors? Nadal is currently on 22 Grand Slam titles, one ahead of Djokovic and two clear of Roger Federer, who retired from tennis in September.

World No. 1 Alcaraz won his first Grand Slam at the US Open and will be eager for more success next season.
